Reign Overview
Royal Whims or Declarations
- The Coronet will be using "Their Serene Highnesses" as Their preferred title.
- In Courts, any member of the populace in good standing (That is to say, anyone not under sanction by the Society, Kingdom, or Principality), any member of the Order of the Bastion, or the Prince's Champion may hold the unsheathed Sword of State. We would wish a large number of people partcipate in holding it as it is a symbol of the people of the Principality. We wish it unsheathed to show the beauty and skill that went into the making of it and how it represents our People.
- Our Royal Baker is His Grace, Jean-Paul de Sens for his bread and cookies at Laurel's Prize Tourney
- The following are declared to be the official Principality Dancers for our Reign: Adena Terricsdottir, John of York, Christopher Flete, Kyna Terricsdottir, Cornelius Merilainen & Koke Gan

Greetings to Our beloved Principality! Deanna and I wish all of the members of Vindheim a safe and wonderful holiday season. Each of you are special to us and have a place in the Principality and in our hearts. Please celebrate and enjoy the warmth and friendship of your families and each other during the holidays and all year long. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events and getting to know you better, as we know that each of you make Vindheim a better, special place!
January 2024 Whispers on the Wind
To the Great Principality of Vindheim, We send our greetings!
We are both thrilled to be privileged to serve the people and groups of Vindheim once again. We want to express our gratitude to our hosts, the Shire of Adlersruhe and to everyone whose hard work created such a memorable Coronet Tournament. We also wished to thank everyone who braved the snow and competed for the honor. We encourage those who wish to serve as our successors to spend the next six months working hard on your off-weapons game in preparation for Summer Coronet! It's never too early to start planning!
The next six months will bring many new friendships, experiences, and adventures for all of us. However, we would ask for the people of this great Principality to remember our friends in Calontir for Winter War Maneuvers in February, and to assist the Kingdom during Gulf Wars with your attendance. We look forward to working on our melee skills and putting them to use to help secure the victory.
It was good to see everyone at our first event, Wiesenfeuer Yule. We would like to take a moment and give special thanks to Her Majesty Ansteorra for allowing us to bring her words to the people of Vindheim and conduct her business in Court. We were very proud to hear that the Baronesses' Toy Tournament was so successful that they collected almost 400 toys due to your generosity! Please keep Master Andrixios in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers from his terrible car accident.
We will represent Vindheim with pride at Crown Tournament, where Her Majesty's Heirs will be decided. Then later, we will attend classes at Northkeep's Winterkingdom, shortly followed by Marata Midwinter Melees and then Winter War Maneuvers in the Shire of Wyverne Cliffe (aka Columbia, MO). Travel safely, spend time with the ones you love the most, stay warm, and we look forward to seeing you out and about.

Greetings to Vindheim!
Day by day the calendar turns and War draws ever closer.We need to prepare ourselves, both in body and mind, to prepare for Gulf and to renew the ties of friendship with our allies. To that end, we encourage all who are able to attend Winter War Maneuvers in Calontir on February 17, 2024. The event will allow us to increase our might on the field in melee combat and to work with Calontir on war planning. It is through our work prior to War that we will again dazzle the Known World with our might and prowess on the field. Practicing standing shoulder to shoulder with our allies to the North will make Gulf a better experience for all. And gosh darn it, they are just awesome people all the way around to hang out with!

To our Beloved Principality!
Beltane was a wonderful event! We would like to thank all who came and enjoyed the day with us, as it just wouldn’t be the same without all of you (and we would be lonely!) Fun was had by all in archery and thrown weapons! Her Highness and I we doubly surprised when cattle were called into Court! We shall let their Excellencies explain on that one further…
Castellan is coming up quicker than many may consider so We ask that you mark your calendar for May 17 – 19 and attend if you can. After that I will be paying a visit to our neighbors North and spending a great event in Calontir at Valor! Please join me if you’re able so we can display our talents and help support our good friends and allies.
Finally, registration for Coronet List will be opening soon! Please be sure to register and send Us a letter of intent that details how you would like your Chivalric Championship to run should you prove victorious. The format has already been posted and I would encourage all participants to bring their own weapons and be ready for a day of fun and fighting!

To Our beloved Principality!
We have returned from Valor! It was a fantastic event where we were able to strengthen our bonds with Calontir and make new friend! The weather was great, if a little rainy Saturday night, the tournaments were spectacular, and Vindheim more than held its own in the melees! I want to thank all those who were kind enough to contribute their talents to the gift bags and banners that were given to their Majesties and Highnesses of Calontir. I am ALWAYS amazed at how talented, kind and generous the people of Our Principality are!
As a reminder, registration to fight in Summer Coronet is open. Please send in your required information and your letter of intent. I am asking all who feel they are able to fulfill the duties of Coronet to enter and strive for the day. Their Majesties will also be installing the new Baron and Baroness of Northkeep. We want to express our sincere thanks to their current Excellencies Perrin and Jehanne for their excellent tenure and leadership.
Deanna and I will see everyone at Summer Crown as Their Majesties find out who Their Heirs shall be! It will be a grand day of pageantry and heroic deeds. Following that we will be attending Bonwicke’s Baronial Investiture and the Summer Coronet. Though our time draws to a close we are looking forward to seeing all of you and helping to recognize all of the wonderful things you do!
June 2024 Whispers on the Wind
Dear Vindheim:
We are sorry to hear that Another Day in the Park was cancelled due to inclement weather, but safety always comes first. Please do your best to support the Barony of Eldern Hills when they reschedule; we look forward to sharing their next event with them, regardless whether we are Coronet at the time or not.
In May, we look forward to seeing everyone at Beltane and Castellan, and will finish the month by attending Valor in Calontir. If you're able to come, we look forward to your company!
Big thanks to everyone who is participating in the Vindheim Achievement Project. Speaking of which, please take a moment to consider whether you've registered your own device or achievement with the College of Heralds!
The next Coronet Tournament will be here before we know it. Submit your letters of intent as early as possible and be sure to describe how you intend to run your chivalric champion's tournament, should the day be yours. There's still a lot to do, but we know it will be time for our successors soon!

This Saturday Their Majesties were hosted in Northkeep to find Their heirs! After a glorious tournament two of our own Vindhomies were victorious! Jean Paul de Sens and Gilyan Alienora of Clonmacnoise took the day after a breathtaking final round! Please be sure to congratulate them and give them support during their reign! Vivat~
