I Love what you are doing with the persona pages, I'm not sure it is a good idea to list a Status on them too. I understand the impulse to do so, but sooner or later someone is going to get their nose out of joint at being listed as inactive. Also I am going to need a photographers release for all the photos, Assuming you are the photographer you can fill out an online one and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You should just be able to do a blanket release for all work. It is also likely I am going to have to have a model release form as well and we may have to remove any photos that do not have one. I'm gonna have to bump that question up to the Kingdom Web Minister. I hope it doesn't come to that, I like the pages much better with the photos, but it's not under my control. Send a copy of the photographer release to my personal email as well.
Hi Robert! I'll be sending you the photographer's release today. Per the Chronicler page, " The SCA Model Release Form is not needed when the images are taken at a public place and in a public forum, including any SCA contest or competition, merchants’ row, court, class, etc. where there is no expectation of privacy." All of the photos were taken by me at SCA events, populace meetings, or fighter practices, in public. No private location images were used. I'll skip the Status field in the future, and if you think it wise, will go back to the pages I've already created and delete that content. - Zubeydah 05:42, 13 October 2011 (PDT) PS: Release sent!
Thanks! I'm trying to make sure that all of the information I have gleaned in my research is added. Please let me know if I should be doing anything differently. =) --Linden (talk) 21:43, 20 May 2018 (PDT)
