Master Isaac Bane is one of the most talented people I know. He artwork speaks for itself and always leaves me in awe. He is one of three people who truly inspire me in the Scribal Arts and is an incredibly patient teacher. Whether through weekly meetings or messages he constantly encourages others to do their best and come to him with questions. Issac has personally been guiding me through the process of making an original scroll and refuses to let me give up on myself.

Thank you, Your Majesties, for the privilege of speaking for this remarkable gentleman. Isaac stands here as a candidate for the Order of the Mark, but I pledge to you, that he would be equally as true and proper a candidate for the Order to which I belong. Isaac serves at every level of Ansteorra, from the Cantons of his Barony, to the Principality, to the Kingdom level. His service helps the newcomer as much if not more so than those of exalted rank. He does not limit his work to one focus: Many areas of our Society reap that benefit, from the Marshallate, where he is a driving force in Archery and Thrown Weapons, organizing practices and encouraging those nervously taking the field for the first time, to the Arts, where he mentors virtually and in person, supporting artisans of every skill level in a dizzying array of mediums. He leads – as a compassionate Baron in Fief, and in Principality offices held long past normal tenure. He creates, gifting original scribal works that number in the hundreds, so that our Populace can feel seen, acknowledged and valued. Isaac has contributed a truly astonishing amount t of his time, skills, and resources to Ansteorra and the Dream. Your Majesties and assembled populace, I cannot simply say, “This man is my Peer” – only that if I work harder, I might someday be his.
