Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses To the Great Principality of Vindheim, We send our greetings We are both thrilled to be privileged to serve the people and groups of Vindheim once again. We want to express our gratitude to our hosts, the Shire of Adlersruhe and to everyone whose hard work created such a memorable Coronet Tournament. We also wished to thank everyone who braved the snow and competed for the honor. We encourage those who wish to serve as our successors to spend the next six months working hard on your off-weapons game in preparation for Summer Coronet! It's never too early to start planning! The next six months will bring many new friendships, experiences, and adventures for all of us. However, we would ask for the people of this great Principality to remember our friends in Calontir for Winter War Maneuvers in February, and to assist the Kingdom during Gulf Wars with your attendance. We look forward to working on our melee skills and putting them to use to help secure the victory. It was good to see everyone at our first event, Wiesenfeuer Yule. We would like to take a moment and give special thanks to Her Majesty Ansteorra for allowing us to bring her words to the people of Vindheim and conduct her business in Court. We were very proud to hear that the Baronesses' Toy Tournament was so successful that they collected almost 400 toys due to your generosity! Please keep Master Andrixios in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers from his terrible car accident. We will represent Vindheim with pride at Crown Tournament, where Her Majesty's Heirs will be decided. Then later, we will attend classes at Northkeep's Winterkingdom, shortly followed by Marata Midwinter Melees and then Winter War Maneuvers in the Shire of Wyverne Cliffe (aka Columbia, MO). Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Greetings to the Populace of Vindheim! January flew by and was full of activity and excitement. We had Crown Tournament where the Heirs were declared. Our neighbors in the Outlands were excellent hosts to Romanius when he visited them for their Coronation. At the time of this writing, we're looking forward to a full day of amazing classes at Winterkingdom in the company of Her Majesty. February will be just as busy. There will be melees at Marata and tea with the rapier community. We will see everyone at Mooneschadowe when they host LPT. We're looking forward to a roadtrip to Winter War Maneuvers with our neighbors in Calontir. We encourage all who may attend WWM to do so, so we may continue to show excellence on the melee field at Gulf Wars. And in the midst of all the miles, we're getting things ready to make memories with all our friends at Gulf Wars, in the lands of our neighbors Gleann Abhann. Gulf Wars Registration is now open, so if you can reserve early, please do so, so that land may be properly distributed. Travel safely! We look forward to seeing you, wherever you may be! Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Dear Vindheim, We are sorry to hear that Another Day in the Park was cancelled due to inclement weather, but safety always comes first. Please do your best to support the Barony of Eldern Hills when they reschedule; we look forward to sharing their next event with them, regardless of whether we are Coronet at the time or not. In May, we look forward to seeing everyone at Beltane and Castellan, and will finish the month by attending Valor in Calontir. If you're able to come, we look forward to your company! Big thanks to everyone who is participating in the Vindheim Achievement Project. Speaking of which, please take a minute to consider whether you've registered your own device or achievement with the College of Heralds! The next Coronet Tournament will be here before we know it. Submit your letters of intent as early as possible and be sure to describe how you intend to run your chivalric champion's tournament, should the day be yours. We appreciate being able to see and hear so much from that vantage point. It's really humbling to be allowed to serve you in this way. Thank you to Their Majesties for their support. Please do not forget to recommend all the spectacular people of Vindheim for Kingdom-level awards in addition to Principality-level recognitions. We truly had a good time at Beltane and Castellan. As of this moment, Valor, Lilies, and Bonwicke are still in the future. Coronet is right around the corner and we look forward to discovering who our successors will be. In the month of September, We will be traveling south for Kingdom A & S. Hopefully, many of you will be able to attend as well. It will be an excellent time to see the wonderful works of the kingdom's best artisans. Moonshadow trade days are on Sept 21/22 and are always fun. Bring your items to trade and enjoy the camaraderie. It will be indoors so we can enjoy the cool, if Vindheim weather proves overly warm! One of them is Diamond Wars in our neighbors of Glenn Abann. We hope you can join us there. The Coronet list is fast approaching. Here is the format for the tournament. This is the weapons that will be used in the list: Round 1 Sword and Shield Round 2 6 foot spear Round 3 Greatsword Round 4 7 1/2 foot Glaive Round 5 Dane Axe Round 6 6 Foot Glaive Round 7 Bastard Sword The tournament will be a swiss 7 single fight , all double kills will be re-fought. Top Eight or Four will be chosen for Finals. Final rounds will be Dane Axe Greatsword 7 1/2 foot Glaive Hone your skills and prepare the weapons and armor to be ready for this next great choosing of the Prince and Princess of Vindheim. Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Greetings Vindheim, Cool weather is finally upon us. We hope everyone is enjoying it and planning for the wonderful events that these months bring. Cornet list is now open for sign up. Each participant will need to submit a Letter of Intent, proof of membership for themselves and their consort, and fighter authorization cards. The style of fighting was in last month's Whispers on the Wind as well as Vindheim FB. War of the Rams is the 3rd weekend of November. We hope to field a large contingency of Vindheim fighters!
