AoA Level

Kingdom Level

"AoA Level" (or "Armigerous") refers to those awards granted in the Kingdom of Ansteorra that grant the rank of an Award of Arms, if one has not already been received by the recipient. Awards that fall into this category include:

• Award of Arms
• Order of the Sable Garland of Ansteorra
• Award of the Sable Comet of Ansteorra
• Award of the Compass Rose of Ansteorra
• Order of the Sable Thistle of Ansteorra
• Award of the Sable Crane of Ansteorra
• Award of the Sable Talon of Ansteorra
• Award of the Sovereign's Gauntlet of Ansteorra
• Award of the Consort's Glove of Ansteorra

Baronial Service Orders

These Baronial awards also are granted at the AoA or armigerous level.

• Sodality of the Sentinels of the Stargate
• Order of the Oak of the Steppes
• Order of the Firebrand of Bjornsborg
• Order of the Silent Trumpet of Bordermarch

There were three Principality of Ansteorra awards that were granted at the AoA level:

• Order of the Aristotelis Discipuli
• Order of the Gilded Thorn of Ansteorra

• Order of the Optio of Ansteorra

Awards Which Have Changed Rank

Previously, the Order of the Sable Garland of Ansteorra was non-Armigerous, however this was revised by Jean Paul de Sens and Gilyan Clonmacnoise, April 27, XLVII (2013).
