Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Greetings, All! It has been an incredible couple of months! We have gotten to enjoy your company at Wiesenfeuer Yule, Coronation, Queens, and Winterkingdom. All have been amazing events where we have gotten to recognize members of the wonderful populace of Vindheim! The coming month promises to be busy, but fun as well. We will be attending Mooneschadowe Provincal Games, Winter War Manuevers in Calontir, and the regional rapier practice. War prep is in full swing! Check your authorizations, check your armor and weapons, check your garb, and make repairs. March will be here before we know it! We are steadily getting award recommendations from the populace and want to say THANK YOU for sending them in. We love being able to recognize our populace members and that isn’t possible without your sending in recommendations. Keep them coming! Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Greetings, All! Wow time flies when you are having fun! This past month was awesome! We enjoyed spending time with you at Provincal Games, Winter War Maneuvers, and the Vindheim rapier practice this past month. We got to see great acts of heroism and fighting at all three events and got to recognize many deserving members of the populace of Vindheim. War prep is in full swing! Check your authorizations, check your armor and weapons, check your garb, and make repairs. March is just around the corner! We are so looking forward to representing this great Principality at war and can’t wait to fight with you, sit around the camp fire with you and tell stories, and recognize even more deserving members of the populace. The Spring eventing season looks to be busy with the Medieval Fair demo happening shortly after we return from war. Please plan to attend this event if you can. It is the largest demo opportunity in the Principality, and we can use all hands on deck to make it successful. In April, we will also be attending Wiesenfeuer Baronial and Namron Beltane. Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Greetings, All! Gulf Wars was so epic! We had a great time! Thank you to everyone who took the time to serve on entourage for us, help move things on logistics for us, etc. And thank you to all who fought on the rapier and chivalric fields, went and shot archery, went and participated in thrown weapons, taught arts and sciences classes, and donated your precious vacation time volunteering to ensure that the rest of us got to enjoy the war. We are so proud of all of you! The Spring eventing season looks to be busy with Medieval Fair happening soon! Please plan to attend this event if you can. It is the largest demo opportunity in the Principality, and we can use all hands on deck to make it successful. In April we will also be attending Wiesenfeuer Baronial and Namron Beltane. Both look to be great fun, and we look forward to seeing all of you there and recognizing all the amazing things that you all do! Plans are also in the works for us to attend Lilies War in Calontir June 11-15. So, if you had a great time at Gulf War and can’t wait to attend another war, come join us! Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Greetings, All! The month of April was an excellent launching point for all the excitement of Spring and Summer in Vindheim. The Medieval Fair is always an incredible time, fun and exciting and one of the very best ways to invite new people into falling in love with this Society that so many of us already have. The Barony of Namron has certainly had an exciting month, capping us off with Beltane and all the joy that comes with it! And let’s not forget Wiesenfeuer Baronial and the amazing time we got to have in the Barony of Fire! These last few weeks have been exceptional in so many ways and we wanted to thank everyone who played a hand in making them so great! Looking forward, May is going to be a jam packed month, with Her Highness attending Adlersruhe’s Passa de Arms, His Highness attending Elfsea’s Defender, Both attending Northkeep’s Castellan, and all the excitement that comes from Memorial Day weekend as well, with Ansteorra celebrating Steppe’s Warlord and our Calontir brethren in Vatavia hosting Valor, this month is packed to the brim with excitement and fun. Out at Beltane, His Highness Micauley was approached by a friend from the southern part of the Kingdom who had made the long trip to see what Vindheim events can be like, they made the comment, “Up here, you guys really love each other, and you know how to have fun!” and there could be no better words to sum up what it feels like at an event in our beloved Principality. Words of the Coronet	From Their Serene Highnesses Greetings To The Glorious Populace of Vindheim! Last weekend was a whirlwind. Thank you to everyone that worked diligently to make coronet tourney a success. We would like to thank Viscount Micauley and Viscountess Caterina for their successful reign. We are so excited to serve the populace as your newest Prince and Princess and for what the next six months hold. Our first event as Prince and Princess will be King’s College which will be held in the barony of Wiesenfeuer on July 8th. We encourage everyone to consider attending this kingdom event being held in our principality. It will have more than 60 classes that will touch on all aspects of the SCA. We will soon have our full progress updated on the Kingdom and Vindheim calendars. We will be attending Pennsic for war week and are excited to see many of you there. We would like to continue a practice started by our honored ancestors Jean Paul I & Gilyan I. As it is looking to be another scorching season, it is the perfect time to work on indoor projects as you plan for for Pennsic, War of the Rams (aka BAM aka Fred), or Gulf Wars! We would like to propose a Principality wide work week of July 23. On one day that week, we encourage the populace to gather as a group of friends, for your local A&S, or work on a personal project to highlight your love and pride for our principality with the Vindheim colors and populace badges. Think of how you want to represent Vindheim on the field at one of the coming wars. We are working our way through the current award recommendations. Please keep them coming in! As we work through the award recommendations already submitted, we encourage you to continue to submit suggestions for citizens that bring glory to Vindheim. If you see someone doing something that you believe should be recognized, let us know! We rely on our populace to tell us of worthy deeds through our online form. Our August will begin standing alongside our Stellar Majesties and their Royal Highnesses at Pennsic. We will be fighting for the honor of Vindheim and Ansteorra. We look forward to bringing you word of great deeds after the battles are fought. We are excited for all of the Vindheim populace that will be attending with us. Thank you to the many populace that are remaining in Vindheim to guard and guide these lands while we are gone. A busy event season draws nigh. We have our progress up on the Kingdom and Principality websites. After Pennsic our next event will be the Makers Faire demo in Northkeep on August 26th and then his Sanguine Highness will be attending War of Legends at the beginning of September. We are excited for the premier Vindheim Thrown Weapons Tournament that will take place at Mooneschadowe’s Trade Days in September. Look forward to a playful tournament that will take into account the theme of the event. Thank you to everyone that participated in the wide work week of July 23. It was exciting to see some of your projects posted. We look forward to seeing our Principality Pride on display at an event or war soon. Recommendations! We need them!
