I started playing this game in 1997. I took a 13 year break to be with my wife, and raise my children.

We had this idea for something called Populace Support at the 2022 Vindheim Summer Coronet Tournament. The concept was that someone would be at Gate who could locate volunteers to assist attendees with mobility challenges, parents traveling with small children, or anyone else who needed a hand getting their gear hauled in.

Lord Darian was busy all day. He rounded up volunteers, and circulated around the parking lots and site, looking for opportunities to help. He stayed in constant communication with the Event Stewards via walkie talkie, and just took this idea and elevated it beyond expectation.

We are so grateful to him for embracing this aspect of our DEI initiatives at Coronet this weekend, and for bringing it to life. We are also grateful to the many people who answered his calls throughout the day.

Notable Contributions or Accomplishments:

• I was selected by Baron Gassion de Beaumarchais to run the premier cut and thrust championship for the Barony of the Eldern Hills.
• Eldern Hills Cut and Thrust Champion from 2019 to 2021, during the covid plague.
• Eldern Hills Rapier Champion, 2021
