Villana Palozolo once had domesticated a pack of wild mice. She trained them, loved, them, named them, and gave the all little bubble baths. She used to make them little tiny pants and tunics, and even tinier little shoes. Unfortunately, she was visiting Margherita with all of her little friends one day, and they saw Margheritas cheese castle! They immediately jumped out of Villanas pocket and on to the cheese castle, where they have been living, fat and happy, ever since.

When I was very new to the SCA and trying All The Things, Villana graciously spent an afternoon teaching me the basics of making lampwork beads. She was an attentive and patient instructor. While it wasn't my cup of tea, I had a wonderful time learning something new, and have always appreciated her help. She is also a good person to go to for name and device heraldry questions. If she doesn't know the answer, she ferociously tracks down resources for you.
