I learned a lot about the hand I used, and I practiced, but it was not enough. I'm not happy with the way it came out, but I have a foothold to build on. And I'm excited to learn more.

Timeline of Activity:

My First Event

I had been involved in other groups for a while, but I wanted more people to learn from. So I tried to get up the gumption to go to SCA. After several failed attempts, I didn't have good enough garb, didn't know anyone, ect. I decided to trick myself. I knew that if I had a responsibility, I would show up. So, I signed up for a prize scroll at a rapier event happening near me. It worked, I made the Queen's Champion scroll, went to the event and loved it. Met some lovely people, including Penelope de Bourbon and her Husband Kevin the Broken, and never left.
