In the early days of Ansteorra, William Blackfox was well known for his portraits of SCA members as animals that suited their personality. Decades later, Mariana Von Kul joined the SCA, and with no knowledge of William's trailblazing, began creating what she calls the Kingdom of Animals. Below are some of the portraits she has created of Ansteorrans.
