Unto the good people of the Kingdom of Ansteorra greetings from the Crown of Ansteorra,
We wish to inform Our people of certain policies and wishes of Ours during this reign.
Policy: The Crown of Ansteorra recognizes the precedence of mundane law over the laws of the SCA or the Kingdom/ Therefore we direct that no citizen of Our realm engage in the use of any mundanely illegal or controlled substances at any event of the Society in this Kingdom.
Policy: The Crown of Ansteorra recognizes the precedence of mundane law over the laws of the SCA or the Kingdom. Therefore, we direct that no citizen of Our realm assist or aid any underage persons in the purchase or consumption of alcoholic beverages at any event of the SCA in the Kingdom, unless they are the parent of said underage person.
We wish to request Our subjects to refrain from the use of certain terms. Specifically the terms "Vespers" and "Shrine." We personally find these terms repugnant and further feel them to be offensive to those of Our subjects from whose religions these terms have been taken.
We feel that there are sufficient other terms available and that this wish will not cause any undue hardship upon Our subjects.
