Persona History:
Yancy Alfsson was born in the Northern regions of the Netherlands. Having sailed from his home he soon found his calling of salt trading. He fell in love with Frú Kolfinna Egilsdóttir so he married her. They settled in Northern France and he built a salt farm. As a saltier that was proud of his salt he was concerned with the quality of salt that was being brought into his local ports. That is how he found the Hanseatic League and joined them. Originally just a saltires' guild the concern of tainted salt grew their mission. Having been a sailor Yancy Alfsson soon took to the water and stopped all merchants that were not members of Hanseatic league. Confiscating all salt onboard for quality testing, Any salt that was found to not be pure was then
cast out into the sea, and the ship impounded causing all the goods to then be forfeit to the league.
Yancy Alfsson then grew his salt empire taking over salt mines and building more salt farms. His travels has brought him to the lands of Ansteorra where he is sharing his knowledge of salt and how to mine/farm it.

- 2020: Fired from the office of Webminister by the Seneschal of Namron.
