Ship owner, trader, sometimes pirate and mercenary, circa 475 B.C.
Interests:
- Have been a Chivalric fighter since February 1977, almost exclusively in wars and larger battles but only 1 tourney.
- Building Youth Combat worldwide is a longtime dream come true for me, and watching our young warriors grow into honorable men and women both in the SCA and in the mundane world is the most rewarding feeling imagineable!

Timeline of Activity:
Introduced to the SCA by Count Sir Simonn and Countess Tessa of the Gardens in February 1977. Founded the Crystal Skull household later that year. Became Baronial Knight Marshal to help at practices and events. Became Youth Combat Marshal when Dane the Red turned 6 years old.

Helped build Youth Combat along with Lady Alexandra (prior Kingdom Youth Combat Deputy Earl Marshal) from very little activity to where it is now where tournaments and training are included in virtually every event. Ansteorra has been seen by other Kingdoms as a leader in the Youth Combat field.
Currently help outfit both Youth Combat and adult Chivalric fighters with hardened leather armor, and also provide loaner gear where needed.
