Bryn Gwlad European Dance Guild

A local guild, which is held and attended by the local people of the Barony of Bryn Gwlad.

Meetings and Activities

The Bryn Gwlad European Dance Guild meets bimonthly. As of January 2024, meetings are the first and third Thursdays at Pioneer Farms. Any changes to the schedule can be seen on the Bryn Gwlad baronial calendar.

Meetings include practice and discussion of:

  • dance technique,
  • common dances, and
  • recreation of novel or rare dances.

In addition, the Guild choreographs and performs an annual Candle Dance for Bryn Gwlad Candlemas to usher in the new year.
