Barony Bordermarch is in Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas and surrounding area. Noted since the 1970's to hold their Baronial event Bordermarch Autumn Melees, fondly called BAM, now being called "War of the Rams" (WoTR) due to Bordermarch's device including a shofar ram's horn and multitudes of visitors from neighboring Gleann Abhann, whose Kingdom device is a ram, come to do friendly battle with Ansteorrans.


Nobility

Bordermarch became a Shire in 1976 within the "Region of Ansteora." Status for Barony Bordermarch (the fourth oldest barony in Ansteorra, following Stargate, Steppes, and Bjornsborg), was proclaimed by the BoD September 13, 1977, the same date that Ansteorra was proclaimed by the BoD to rise in status to "Principality."
