The Shire of Tír Medóin is located in Rockdale, Texas. It is in the Southern Region of Ansteorra. It was originally called Cridhe na Tyr, however this name was not able to pass Heraldry requirements. It began as a canton of the Barony of Bryn Gwlad.
The first demo sponsored by the branch was held on May 21st, 1999 [1].
The branch name and arms were registered in October of 2002.
