From Their Serene Highnesses
Greetings from the Stallion Thrones of Vindheim,
As we welcome in the New Year and extend wishes of the happy holidays to
our great populace, we would also like to notify all whom may wish to know
of our current projected progress for January.
The Barony of Elfsea with be hosting Elfsea Yule and Sable Soldier on
January 11, 2025.
We also greatly look forward to attending Marata Midwinter Melees on
January 25, where Her Sanguine Highness will test the metal of the of the
rapier community with the Vindheim Rapier Championship. There will be a
champion chosen from the fighters as well as an overall victor. Her
Sanguine Highness would like to witness the purity of the blade with single
sword in a 10 foot diameter circle. Double kills will transition the fighters to
a dagger only fight with a further constriction of movement (learn to parry).
Concurrently, His Sanguine Highness will be choosing His chosen champion during the melees.

From Their Serene Highnesses
Greetings from the Stallion Thrones of Vindheim,
We are looking forward to attending Winterkingdom in
Northkeep, LPT hosted by Namron, and Winter War
Manuevers in Calontir at the end of the month.
I would like to thank everyone who came by my Princess Tea
and fought in my tournament at Marata Midwinter Melees. I
would like to thank H.L. Lyra and Mistress Domi for hosting
my tea, and Branwen Mackay for making the persian love
cakes. I also would like to thank Don Jacques Ball for his
service to the Principality as the Rapier Champion and for
organizing the tournament for my champions.
Congratulations to Dona Veronica for becoming the Vindheim
Rapier Champion and Talon of Bonwicke for becoming my
personal champion.
We are looking forward to attending Winterkingdom in
Northkeep, LPT hosted by Namron, and Winter War
Manuevers in Calontir at the end of the month.

From Their Serene Highnesses
Greetings from the Stallion Thrones of Vindheim,
We have returned home from winter war maneuvers, filled with a
renewed sense of friendship with the great people of Calontir.
Vindheim has received even more regalia from our friends in the
Kingdom of Calontir, a testament to the power of kindness and
generosity. HSH and myself were deeply humbled by the
overwhelming amount of gifts we received. To TRMs Calontir and the
populace who made these gifts, we offer our heartfelt thanks for your
generosity. On the Vindheim Facebook page we took pictures of the
items and we will be doing our best to display those items as much as
possible. We would also like to thank Jarl Owen, Geoffrey de Gournay,
Dona Ashildr and Dona Halldora for all of your time, effort, and
donations to be given to TRM Calontir.
Gulf Wars is here and We want to say now how proud We are of the
Principality and everyone who armors up, volunteers, displays their
Art. To everyone traveling to and from Gulf War, please be safe.

From Their Serene Highnesses
Gulf War is over and the event calendar is about to get really busy. We will be attending
Medfair, Coronation, and Wiesenfeuer Baronial and we will start bringing the award
recommendation box and cards for people to fill out cards.
At GW, I gave out the Vindheim sashes/ tabards for people to wear during the opening
ceremony. If you received one, I would appreciate it if you would return it to us. We
would like to get with sewing guilds who may want to reproduce the sashes so we can
have all those who represent Our Principality at wars wear them.
Also at GW, We were able to give out several Thunderbolts, Tenne, Sinope, and
Sanguine horses company thanks to Master Isaac Bane and Lord Gryffydd ap Artorius
for making the insignia and to Our Generals and Marshals for their eyes on and off the
field giving us input.
We are also including the information about the Coronet list:
The 2025 Summer Coronet Tournament format is as follows:
Round 1: Great sword (5’ – 7’ in length, no thrusting allowed)
Round 2: Bastard sword (3’ – 5’ in length, no thrusting allowed)
Round 3: Short sword (2’ in length, thrusting allowed)
Round 4: Single handed Mace
Round 5: 6’ Glaive
The format is a Swiss 5, best 2 out of 3, FIRST BLOOD. That means ANY valid strike, will
determine the winner of that point. You DO NOT have to kill your opponent to obtain
each point.
At the end of the Swiss 5, the person with the most points will be declared the overall
victor.
If there are numerous “overall victors” these fighters will make up the finals bracket.
This portion of the tournament will remain a first blood, but single point to determine
the victor.
Her Sanguine Highness Adria will determine your weapons styles for the finals amongst
the Swiss 5 styles stated previously.

Greetings from the Stallion Thrones of Vindheim,
In May, We will be attending Namron Beltane, Northkeep
Castellan, Valor, and Vindheim Missile Academy/Premier
Vindheim A&S Championship and we will be looking forward
to seeing the populace, and attending as many of the
activities as We can.
If I gave you a tabard or sash at Gulf War to wear during the
war to represent Our Principality, please return them so I can
make sure they are available to the next Coronet to use. And I
would ask if anyone wants to make more of the sashes so all
individuals who are in the marshallate can wear them on the
field to represent.
On May 31, 2025, the letters of Intent are due, please
remember to email us and the Vindheim Seneschal.

From His Serene Highness
Greetings to the Glorious Populace of Vindheim!
June is the last month of this reign, with exciting things
happening every week. I look forward to seeing great fights at
Crown tournament and then it’s time to rally north to the
Kingdom of Calontir for Lillies War. Jumping right back to things
at Weisenfeur Baronial, then Eldern Hills Baronial and finishing
things off with a much anticipated event of Summer Coronet
Tournament.
Immediately following the Coronet tournament, the Tanist and
Tanista will have Their heavy combat and rapier combat
championships.
I look forward to seeing who will be victorious. A huge thank you
goes out to any and all whom have helped with this reign. This
reign couldn’t have been done without each artisan, scribe, fighter
support, and volunteer who gave of their time to help.
