My alternate persona is my "cousin" Anna Maria de Astorga, a Spanish rapier fighter that keeps to the shadows.

General Information:
I've been playing since late 2010, when I first picked up a sword at fighter practice. I am a chivalric fighter, a combat archer, and a rapier fighter. I sang and performed for four years in the Bjornsborg Early Music Ensemble (BEME) and sometimes play in dance bands at balls. My favorite place in the SCA is the Green Dragon, a tavern at Gulf Wars.
Persona History:
I am an early 15th century German woman from Esslingen that spends much of her time abroad, escorting and protecting pilgrims along routes such as the Camino de Santiago. Although I tend to spend most of my time in Europe, on occasion I have escorted pilgrims to Constantinople and beyond, once along the Kumano Kodo. I met my husband, Pierre, on one of these journeys.
Interests:
My A&S interests include medieval gender studies, the development of chivalry, fighter training and pedagogy, pilgrimages (especially the Camino de Santiago), and music theory and performance before 1600.
My service interests include equity, inclusion, and diversity in the SCA, especially as it relates to female and gender minority fighters on and off the field.
