Persona History:

Clauß hails from the imperial free city of Nurenberg at the start of the 16th century. Due to unfortunate but probably foreseeable circumstances of his own making he found himself joining the Landsknecht as a doppelsöldner seeking glory and to clear his name. While in service of the empire He would take part in the battle of Pavia and possibly made a visit to Rome in 1527.
