The Bardic Works of Jean Paul de Sens
'Twas the Monday Before Coronet
by Jean Paul de Sens with assistance by Gilyan Alienora of Clonmacnoise
It was the Monday before Coronet
And all through the shop
People were working on weapons
And they were working a lot
The hammers were hung by the anvil with care
And pieces of plastic were in Eric's hair
The saws were sawing and the sanders were sanding
And Sage tested out her new c-belt on the second story landing
When from the corner there arose a great clatter,
That the entire shop stopped to see what the matter.
The fearsome table saw had thrown a mighty fit,
And with a brutal throw both Eric and Karl were hit
Hurt but not injured, both fighters soon rebounded,
and artisans bent to their tools with care abounded,
As JP and Charles examined the calamitous tool,
they realized again that blades of spinning are not cool.
For the 1st rule of the armor shop, is one that bears repeat
If the tools is spinning, it is you that it wants to eat.
Trust it not, and beware it always,
And indeed you will be able to see many more Mondays.
