Persona History:

15th Century English woman in the port city of Lancashire England. Daughter of a sheep farmer. No real wealth of my own... but I am educated in midwifery, herbalism, and medicinal lore. I have provided care for many well known nobility and my abilities is often sought out by those in power. I have earned a good living helping those who have wealth. They have allowed me to leave my humble family farm and live far above my social standing. My well appointed marriage has allowed me privileges I would never have had as a sheep farmer’s daughter.

Interests:

Autocrating, Hospitaler, all types of weaving and fiber arts (spinning, rigid heddle, tablet, inkle, kumhimo, floor loom, tapestry, felting). Glass beads. Glass fusing, Pottery, jewelry making and I’m a pretty good feastocrat. I teach mundanely and I try to teach in the SCA when given opportunity.

Mundane Information:

Mundanely, I have been a paramedic over 24 years. I like to say, I am highly organized in chaotic situations. I have done large scale incidents / events as a leader both in and outside the SCA. My skill set is that of finding resources and making things happen under extreme pressure. Be it as a large scale incident commander, an EMS educator or an SCA autocrat / Officer. Additionally, I was a Cedar Cove Art Studio (Duncan, OK) resident Fiber Arts instructor, and taught an 8 week track once a week. Topics included: Felting, fingerloop, small pouch weaving, backstrap card weaving, inkle, rigid heddle, kumihimo, lucet, torch glass beads.
