Artisan Notes: "The box design is based on "Cofferette" estimated to be made around the 13th-14th century. Both are from German cultures. The box is believed to have held game pieces, which I have repurposed for largess. The pillows are satin, which are standing-in for luxurious silk woven in Italy and decorated with pearl which is common to the Mediterranean (I'm an Italian persona). The painting is not based on a particular place, but draws inspiration from the many lakes and lush greenery in Calontir. The paint is acrylic." | |||
