Persona History:

In early 19th Century Holland, there was a man named Klaas Luinstra, who, with his wife Ida, owned a merchant vessel. They sailed throughout the Dutch waterways, originating from Leeuwarden, a city in the Frieseland region of Holland. (Fun fact: the Luinstra family arms features the Frisian Eagle, a sable two-headed eagle on an Or field that signifies the Holy Roman Emperor's favour towards a noble family in his service.)

Interests:

  • Bardic
  • Archery
  • Armoured Combat
  • Rapier Combat
  • Brewing
  • Armouring
  • Weaponcraft
  • Cooking
  • Herpetology (reptiles)
  • Equine studies

Timeline of Activity:

Klauss was originally named Gawain when he first started playing in 2015.

2016: Returned to the Society, taking the name Klaas. (Klaas was the first ancestor from my family to reach the United States, and thus I wanted to pay homage to my great, great grandfather, and his fathers before him, by making sure his named lives on - albeit with a different spelling.)
