1987: Began participating at a local level 1989: First major event - Mists/Cynagua War. Got involved with waterbearing and dance.
1990: Moved to Ansteorra
1991: I met the man who was to become my husband at a dance practice. There was a fighter practice going on as well. I had finished dancing and was heading towards my car. He wanted to catch my attention to ask for my phone number, so he poked me in the derriere with his rapier!
1996: Married my husband, William Silke. That weekend, there was a Kingdom Dance Symposium, and many of the attendees of the Symposium came to the wedding.
