The Shire of Loch Ruadh is located in Fort Worth, Texas. It is in the Central Region of Ansteorra.
It was formerly a canton of Elfsea, initially named Dùn an Locha Ruaidh. That name was registered in September of 1993 and changed to the present one in December of 1998.
The branch arms were registered in November of 1993, and a badge for which no purpose is given in the S.C.A. Armorial (Quarterly gules and sable, on a flame Or a rock gules, a bordure Or.) was registered to the branch in January of 2000.
