Yesterday was an absolutely amazing day! We got to recognize so many awesome people! <BR> | |||

We also created two new awards. One is a second level service award to the Golden Comb, the Terick’s Hammer. That award was originally created during my tenure as Baroness of Namron with Orlando Giovanni and in conjunction with the then Baron and Baroness of Wiesenfeuer Keiron and Branislava. It was created as a cross baronial second level youth service award. We were approached by the current Baron and Baroness of Wiesenfeuer Isaac and Eadwyn about the possibility of making it a Vindheim award this reign and in consultation with Yarl Owen Ap Aeddan, his wife Genevria and the Baroness and Baronessa of Namron Isabella and Emma O'Ruairc we decided to make that happen. This award was established originally to keep alive the memory of Terick, Owen and Genevria’s son who passed away in a fire. We were honored to be able to make the premiere at the principality level, Patrick Isaacsson. He it’s an exemplary youth in our principality and so deserving of this honor. <BR> | |||

We also created an award to recognize those who have been a driving force behind recruitment and retention in our great principality for many many years. That award is the Order of the Griffins Heart and our premiere was Charles the Grey. <BR> | |||

Our other big award given was our Bastion. The Bastion is such a special award. We can only choose one. But that choice was narrowed down pretty quickly and we decided it could be no other than Yarl Owen. He is a driving force in Vindheim. He is someone who had been here since the beginning. He is the heart and soul of this principality. He is so very deserving of this award. <BR> | |||

Following court, there was the tournament. Everyone fought with honor and chivalry and in the end, Cadmus and Adena emerged victorious! I’m so excited for them and so excited to see them reign and all the wonderful things that they will do! <BR> | |||
