Cosma was born into a rich merchant family in Porto, Portugal sometime during the summer of 1360. Her family decided to send her to Ansteorra during the last years of King Ferdinand the First. She stopped for a short time in DragonSpine in the Outlands before joining Miguel's household in the Barony of the [[Steppes]].
