Talk:Bards
Possible controversial areas:
That whole rickrack deal (My idea, I admit; it seemed like a good idea at the time, but boy... Never again! In fact, avoiding the pain of the competition system became the inspiration for the very successful Bardic Madness events that got started in Northshield and are now a popular in other kingdoms as well.)
Sir Finn's Laurel (given over the objections of the Order, as I was told, at least one member of the Order threatened to resign in protest)
How the College came to an end

Thanks for adding this page and getting it started. My feeling is that it needs to be renamed, but I'm not sure. Does anyone else have an opinion on this either way? I think we need a separate page for the Queens College of Bards. I'd like to hear what others think about this, and would like to see some active use of these discussion pages to help organize the site. Fitzmorgan 03:26, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I personally do not feel that rumors of the internal discussions of the peerage circles are appropriate topics for this site. That is not an official ruling as the admin, telling people not to do it, but is my personal opinion. I can see the potential for real problems and hurt feelings if we head down that road and, very little potential benefit. I do not want to run this site as head censor where only viewpoints I approve of are represented. It's Ansteorra's history, not mine, and there is room for several points of view. The statement about Sir Finn's Laurel does not quite rise to the level of making me put on my admin hat and remove it, but it does make me uncomfortable. I would really appreciate other opinions on this issue. Fitzmorgan 03:41, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
