A Vicar and Vicaress are the couple appointed to attend to the duties of a Baron and Baroness when the Baron and Baroness of a group can not. If a Baron/Baroness wins crown, moves away, quits the sca, and is otherwise unable to complete the duties required a vicar/vicaress is appointed.
