AS XIII (1978-1979 CE)
- December
- William Blackfox, attending a wargaming convention at OSU, introduces a number of students to the SCA.
- March
- Several residents attend the first War between Atenveldt and Middle, held in NE Oklahoma.
- April
- Several residents participate with Namron in University of Oklahoma’s Medieval Fair.
- Incipient Shire of Mona Sceadowe formed as a result of organizational meeting held in Cordell Hall. Lord Frederick von Sternwald and Lady Melissande Dragonstar of Clan Silverthorne came to help organize the group. [The original name submitted was “Shire of MoonShadow, Land of the Crying Wind” which was rejected by the College of Heralds.]

- Revel Minor of the Incipient Shire. (Attended by Their Majesties Jonathan and Willow during their first reign as Crown of Ansteorra).

- Mona Sceaduw was registered at the College of Heralds with the accompanying device, Sable, in pale a sun eclipsed argent and a laurel wreath, a chief Or.

- Several residents attend the Second (and last) War between Ansteorra and Middle held in NE Oklahoma.
