The Award of the Sable Crane of Ansteorra is an award that was created by the first crown of Ansteorra to recognize outstanding service to the kingdom.
The Crane is an AoA level award.
The award ranks just below the holders of the King's Gauntlet and Queen's Glove and before the multitude of baronial orders. It has equal precedence with the Awards of the Sable Thistle and Sable Talon.
