This was a group started by the local Rolling Thunder households. Failed due to non-reporting officially. At the time it was one of the largest groups in the panhandle the call list had over 50 people. From the areas of Amarillo, Borger, Canyon, and Pampa.

Another interesting note. The shire supported a large youth fighter practice, unofficially of course, these fighter practices ranged from 9 to 16 participants.

The Shire of Desert Wyndes was in Pampa, Texas.
