The Award of the King's Gauntlet of Ansteorra is an award that was created by the 1st Crown of Ansteorra. It is given by the King unto persons found to have served him well and faithfully, above and beyond what is normally expected of a citizen of Ansteorra.
The Gauntlet is an AoA level award.
The award ranks just below the Simple Grants and before the Sable Thistle/Sable Talon/Sable Crane. It has equal precedence with the Award of the Queen's Glove of Ansteorra.
The number of awards given shall not be limited, either in number of holders of the Award or in number of monarchs choosing to honor one individual.
