- In 2001, there were financial difficulties around the publication of The Black Star. A number of fundraisers were held, including auctions organized in the Northern Region by [[Thorgrim Bjornson|Thorgrim] and Sigen, the founding Landed Baron & Baroness of the Barony of Northkeep. Kateryn la Esclopiera organized a Kissing Booth at the Namron Beltane event. Their Majesties, Jason and Saeried, acknowledged all the fundraising efforts in a [post to the Ansteorra Announcements list.
