The Award of the Sable Crane of Ansteorra is an award that was created by the first crown of Ansteorra to recognize outstanding service to the kingdom.
The Crane is an AoA level award.
The award ranks just below the holders of the King's Gauntlet of Ansteorra and Queen's Glove of Ansteorra and before the multitude of baronial orders. It has equal precedence with the Awards of the Sable Thistle of Ansteorra and Sable Talon of Ansteorra.
