Persona History:

Post-conquest Norman, ca. 1100.

Eskel Someried was born the second son of a Norman knight, after the Invasion. As the sheriff of an unnamed Shire in Northern England, Eskel is largely concerned with getting King William Rufus his money. Or else. Young Eskel may be a second son, but he can accept the wisdom of primogeniture, especially since being a sheriff makes him lots of money and provides for a good deal of leisure time as well..

"Crusades?" says Eskel "Why would I do a thing like that?"

Eskel is an old norse name meaning "helmet" or "sacred cauldron." The French version of the name would be "Aschtille"

Interests:

  • Heavy combat
  • Armoring
  • Archery
  • The production and consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Also involved in the pursuit of the perfect tunic.
