	The ~~design~~ for ~~the badge~~ was designed by Angelia Panattoni, ~~who~~ won a ~~design~~ contest ~~sponsored by HL Haldana~~, ~~when~~ she ~~served as Minister~~ of ~~Arts~~ and ~~Sciences~~. Angelia ~~was 12 or 13 at~~ the ~~time~~.<BR><BR>		"The insignia for this award was designed by Angelia Panattoni in 1987. She was a teen at the time, and her design won a contest I had held when I was Kingdom Minister of Children. I do not know her SCA name, but she is the daughter of Baroness Angelina Panattoni and Baron Sir Olaf of Karkoff. There are a number of people who were active at that time who can vouch for the truth of this statement. Angelia recently passed away, and I would like her contribution to the history of the MOC to be a matter of record.
			I am Baroness Haldana Jensdottir, living in the East but always and forever an Ansteorran."<BR><BR>
