			I have known him since his day one in the Society and have always found him to protect and provide for others. <BR>
			He thinks of others first, before himself.<BR>
			I could speak about his virtues for an hour and lack the time to fully describe his kindness, his thoughtfulness, his provision, his effort, his example, his defense, his protection, his leadership/service, his deep caring, his strength mixed with his gentleness, and of course his honor and prowess as a fighter and a teacher.<BR>
			Meurik has come to my aid literally more times than I can remember; particularly in the recent two-and-a-half years. I am very biased, speaking here as Meurik's grandparent. I declare sincerely that at no other time in my life have I been as proud nor excited to bear witness for one who is a candidate for peerage.<BR>
