She accompanied me through Merchants Row at my first Gulf Wars, pointing out shops that carried things relating to my Norse persona, recommending others due to their great service or selection, and telling me stories of Gulf Wars past. As we neared the end of our trek, she surprised me with a pottery tasting cup as a memento of my first war.
