	Floki Gierrekkson was born into a Norse family full of warriors. From the time he was young, he and his brother, Sven, could be found playing with swords, spears, and axes, and generally causing trouble.<BR>
	~~<BR>~~
	When Floki reached adulthood, duty called and he was sent around the world on Viking raids. During his travels, he met many fascinating people and killed them all. He made a name for himself with his axe, and cemented himself as a master with any weapon. Having had his share of sailing, Floki returned home to the beautiful landscape of Scandinavia. Here, he heard tales of riches found far to the south with the Byzantine army. Tempted by the promise of gold and fame, Floki packed up and headed to Constantinople. As part of the elite Varangian guard, Floki became a personal bodyguard to the emperor and bravely led troops in battle.
	During his time in Byzantium, he picked up an energetic traveling companion who he took as a squire. As part of this deal, he was also rewarded with the company of the legendary war dog, Briar Underfoot. <BR>

	~~Briar and Floki became fast friends and can now be found traveling the lands making friends, and enemies, and turning his squire into their third wheel.~~
