Through this lineage, she is counted among the extended kin of Vlad III Dracula, whose turbulent reign cast a long shadow over the region. Raised within a household that favored strong ties to the Hungarian court, Elisava’s upbringing was shaped not only by local tradition but also by the political and cultural influence of the Kingdom of Hungary. 
Much of her youth was marked by a persistent rivalry with her younger brother, Sir [[Vlad Illiescu]], as the two contended for influence over the future stewardship of their family’s holdings. Though time and distance have since carried her brother to the East, the memory of these disputes has left Elisava resolute and steadfast in her purpose. 
She is now wed to [[William Harper]], her trusted companion and partner in all endeavors. Together, they departed their former home in Bjornsborg, seeking a new beginning beyond the weight of past conflicts. Their travels have since brought them to Stargate, where they have chosen to establish their household. 
A lady of cultivated pursuits, Elisava devotes herself to the arts of illumination and calligraphy, disciplines likely encouraged by her exposure to the scholarly and ecclesiastical traditions influenced by Hungary and the Latin West. In her work, she draws upon both Western manuscript styles and the artistic currents that passed through her homeland, creating pieces that reflect a life lived at a cultural crossroads. 
Her manner of dress likewise reflects this dual influence. While firmly grounded in the fashions of 14th- and 15th-century Western Europe—favored among those with Hungarian ties—her attire bears subtle Ottoman Turkish elements, an acknowledgment of the realities of life in Wallachia during a time of external pressure and cultural exchange. In this blending of styles, Elisava honors her heritage while adapting to a changing world. 
In the year 2026, after a long absence from Society life, Elisava and her husband have returned to the SCA with renewed dedication. They seek to offer their service, renew old alliances, and take their place within the life and fellowship of their new Barony.
