Here's one example of why: I was the Axeman Event Steward in 2017, and Angelina was the returning Rapier Champion of [[Skorragardr]]. She had developed a wonderful tournament format based on Dante's Inferno. Hesitantly, I asked her if she could adjust to a Norse-theme, in keeping with the event. She graciously spent time researching Norse mythology for inspiration and created a wonderful format based on the nine worlds.
