Braving dense fog, Zubeydah heads south to Duncan, Oklahoma, to Laurel's Prize Tourney, displaying her work in the fields of block printing, lampworking and jewelrymaking. Wonderful conversations are had with several Laurels, including Mistress [[Kaitlyn McKenna]], Mistress [[Ebergardis von Zell]], Mistress [[Osanna van der Linden]], Master [[Haraldr Bassi]], Master [[Beorhlic Folcwineson]] and Mistress [[Nafisa al-Nadiyah]]. Each gives encouragement in their own way, and two challenge her to enter Kingdom Arts & Sciences. The Crown and Heir of Ansteorra and Coronet of Vindheim travel Northward to the Falcon lands of Calontir for Winter War Maneuvers, and Zubeydah makes that journey as well, serving as entourage and taking photos. The pomp and circumstance of the Final Court of Jean-Paul & Gilyan and the Coronation of Jason and Marguerita lure Zubeydah southward in April. May is busy, with first Namron Beltane, then Queen's Champion (hosted by Northkeep) and Castellan. Entered the Vindheim Premiere Arts & Sciences Competition at [[Vindheim Missile Academy II]]. Event photography and Vigil NOMS at Wiesenfeur Baronial, joyously celebrating the elevation to the Order of Chivalry of [[Damon Xanthus]], and bearing witness to two new [[Order of the Mark of Ansteorra\|Marks]] being made: [[Kajira Camber]] and [[Kyrus Logisson]]. The small but mighty Oak Springs hosts the Principality at June's Coronet Tourney, and Zubeydah celebrates as Micauley and Caterina are successful once more. In July, she travels down to Wiesenfeur to visit and record history shared by two Ansteorran giants: [[Orm Skjoldbidig]] and [[Megan Andoniel of Glengalen]]. August brings a wonderful road-trip with friends [[Koke Gan]] and [[Serena de Fleuris]] down to [[Steppes]] Artisan, where she enters the competition with a display of block printing, jewelry and lampwork. Writes a missive aimed at newcomers who might be confused by the "conflict" between the King and Queen at Court to help them understand "step-down schtick." Journeys to Steppes for Coronation, receiving a Golden Star from Jason & Marguerita. There, she also presents her Sable Swap gift to [[Delfina de Borja]] - a painted silk banner of her device. Though rain threatens, Zubeydah would not - could not - miss the Final Triumphe of the Province of Mooneschadowe, her adoptive home. The opportunity to serve comes in a gate shift with [[Alice Levine]], and the day is a lazy one, filled with excellent conversations. At evening court, [[Nalka Um Al-Jafna]], knowing Abe isn't present to walk Zu in to court, asks if Mooneschadowe can do so in his stead -- and when the Prince and Princess of Vindheim call her into Their presence, the Province shows up in force to walk her in. (Link contains entire ceremony). Braving dense fog, Zubeydah heads south to Duncan, Oklahoma, to Laurel's Prize Tourney, displaying her work in the fields of block printing, lampworking and jewelrymaking. Wonderful conversations are had with several Laurels, including Mistress [[Kaitlyn McKenna]], Mistress [[Ebergardis von Zell]], Mistress [[Osanna van der Linden]], Master [[Haraldr Bassi]], Master [[Beorhlic Folcwineson]] and Mistress [[Nafisa al-Nadiyah]]. Each gives encouragement in their own way, and two challenge her to enter Kingdom Arts & Sciences. The Crown and Heir of Ansteorra and Coronet of Vindheim travel Northward to the Falcon lands of Calontir for Winter War Maneuvers, and Zubeydah makes that journey as well, serving as entourage and taking photos. The pomp and circumstance of the Final Court of Jean-Paul & Gilyan and the Coronation of Jason and Marguerita lure Zubeydah southward in April. May is busy, with first Namron Beltane, then Queen's Champion (hosted by Northkeep) and Castellan. Entered the Vindheim Premiere Arts & Sciences Competition at [[Vindheim Missile Academy II]]. Event photography and Vigil NOMS at Wiesenfeur Baronial, joyously celebrating the elevation to the Order of Chivalry of [[Damon Xanthus]], and bearing witness to two new [[Order of the Mark of Ansteorra\|Marks]] being made: [[Kajira Camber]] and [[Kyrus Logisson]]. The small but mighty Oak Springs hosts the Principality at June's Coronet Tourney, and Zubeydah celebrates as Micauley and Caterina are successful once more. In July, she travels down to Wiesenfeur to visit and record history shared by two Ansteorran giants: [[Orm Skjoldbidig]] and [[Megan Andoniel of Glengalen]]. August brings a wonderful road-trip with friends [[Koke Gan]] and [[Serena de Fleuris]] down to [[Steppes]] Artisan, where she enters the competition with a display of block printing, jewelry and lampwork. At evening Court, she is named the 37th [[Artisans of the Steppes\|Steppes Artisan]]!! Staying true to her pledge made at Laurel's Prize Tourney, Zubeydah enters Kingdom Arts & Sciences with a display focused on Hiberno-Norse beads, receiving a 10 for complexity, and a Pilgrim's Badge for her overall score of 43. Documents not one, two, or three elevations at Namron Protectorate, but four! Writes a missive aimed at newcomers who might be confused by the "conflict" between the King and Queen at Court to help them understand "step-down schtick." Journeys to Steppes for Coronation, receiving a Golden Star from Jason & Marguerita. There, she also presents her Sable Swap gift to [[Delfina de Borja]] - a painted silk banner of her device. Though rain threatens, Zubeydah would not - could not - miss the Final Triumphe of the Province of Mooneschadowe, her adoptive home. The opportunity to serve comes in a gate shift with [[Alice Levine]], and the day is a lazy one, filled with excellent conversations. At evening court, [[Nalka Um Al-Jafna]], knowing Abe isn't present to walk Zu in to court, asks if Mooneschadowe can do so in his stead -- and when the Prince and Princess of Vindheim call her into Their presence, the Province shows up in force to walk her in. (oh the feels. ALL. THE. FEELS.) There, she receives a custom made piece by the hands of Alex the Scribe, specially commissioned as insignia for the Tenne Company of Vindheim. At evening Feast, she is invited to join their Excellencies of the Steppes at High Table - a first for such an honor! At Winter Round Table, she is part of the digital team that helps record training classes. Illness prevents her attending Vindheim Winter Coronet. wInterKingdom brings classes on the Wiki and on Service. February, Work interferes with plans to attend Winter War Maneuvers and Laurel's Prize Tourney. ZUZU'S VERY FIRST GULF WARS!! Chosen by the Crown to represent Ansteorra in the War Point Arts & Sciences Competition, she flys out Tuesday to attend Wednesday's competition. After receiving wonderful feedback and scores from her judges, the stress of the journey is over and happy time with friends and volunteering at Gate can be had. Mooneschadowe provides warm hospitality and the Free Company makes her cry happy tears of inclusion and love (and yummy food!). April brings showers (and storms) at Elfsea Defender, making for a cold and wet morning on site. Fortunately, the afternoon brought a lightening to the weather, and with Mistress [[Elsa von Snackenburg]] who traveled with her, she attends a Pelican circle. During an epic day of ten elevations (8 planned, 2 spontaneous), Zubeydah speaks for Herre [[Fyn Alreksson]] and Master [[Isaac Bane]], and takes oodles of photos. Wiesenfeur breaks its habit of a freezing Baronial, and traveling over to Sperry is fun in the company of [[Elise Green]]. Most of the day is spent taking photos, helping with notarizations, and cheering for friends being recognized, but one particularly fun moment happens when Lord Odd, Lady Elise and HL [[Órlaith inghean Uí hUallacháin]] encourage Zu to throw axes and spears!! Baroness [[Isabella Coppola]] also provides mentorship in Lyst Field Administration so that a first step can be taken to keeping a promise made at Gulf Wars to [[Áshildr inn Hárfagri]].
