AS X (1975-1976)

  • Spring 1976 - Lady Agnes de Saint Michel moved to Tulsa and posted SCA flyers around Tulsa.

AS XI (1976-1977 CE)

  • May 1, 1976 - The first Newcomers' Revel, followed by a number of revels.
  • Autumn and Winter, 1976-1977 - Alanna of Caer du Pard corresponded Lady Agnes about starting a new shire. William Blackfox and a few others were irregularly active.
  • March 1977 - (Bjornsborg holds King's College, the Southern Texas region begins organizing)

AS XII (1977-1978 CE)

  •  ????, 1977 - The group chose the name Nord-aus-das Strom (North of the Storm), which appeared in the Sable Star, Principality Newsletter
  •  ????, 1977 - Agnes de Saint Michel published the first newsletter (bulletin style) called Storm Winds
  • Late Summer, 1977 – William Blackfox and Candace of Star Kaat became active. Regular fighter practices and frequent demos were held.
  • 13 August 1977 - Ton and Elizabeth are crowned King and Queen of Atenvelt
  • 26 November 1977 - Sean McFlamm of Ravenswaard and Katharina von Alyssin are crowned Prince and Princess of Ansteora in Bjørnsborg

AS XIII (1978-1979 CE)

  •  ????, 1978 - First Populace Meeting. Officers were chosen as follows: Seneschal, Alanna of Caer du Pard; Knight's Marshall and Arts and Sciences Minister, Thomas Redhawk; Herald and Hospitaller, Lady Agnes de Saint Michel.
  • 20 May 1978 - Randal von Nordlichwald and Constance von Nordlichwald are crowned Prince and Princess of Ansteora in Bjørnsborg
  •  ????, 1978 - Sometime during this period Blackfox visited the OSU wargaming convention. About this same time, Alanna of Caer du Pard had some contact with Sebastian Aragard, one of Mooneschadowe's founders.
  • August, 1978 - The shire was first mentioned in the Blackstar
  • 9 December 1978 - Simonn of Amber Isle and Theressa of the Garden were crowned Third Prince and Princess of Ansteora.
  • April, 1979 - First Willow's War. Co-autocratted by William Blackfox and Duffin Blindeagle First event sponsored by the group. The first Royalty to come to the shire were Jonathan DeLaufyson and Willow de Wisp, King and Queen of Atenveldt, and Simon of the Amber Isles and Tessa of the Gardens, Prince and Princess of Ansteorra.

AS XIV (1979-80 CE)

  •  ????, 1979 - William Blackfox offered a series of classes on making medieval arms and armor through Praxis Project, a Tulsa-based free education organization.
  • 17 June, 1979 - Ansteorra becomes a Kingdom with the Coronation of Jonathan de Laufyson
  • 14 July, 1979 - The Coronation of Willow I as Queen of Ansteorra
  • Fall, 1979 - Candace of Star Kaat, Duffin Blindeagle, Xylon Xerxes, Lachlainn Bladesmith, Thomas Redhawk, Alanna of Caer du Pard, William Blackfox, Maurella the Shy, Roselyn d'Angleterre, Bjorlich auf Graumesser, Rosemary the Nightingale, Nobil abu Kaliff, Eamon Goethe, Marc du Provence and Sesamone von Jenser were active members of the shire

  • 18 November 1979 – Lloyd von Eaker and Jocelyn Alleyne Reynard crowned as Second King and Queen of Ansteorra.

AS XVI (1981-82 CE)

  • May, 1981 - New Year's Revel; May Day Revel at Chateau Provence (local household); Demo for Mayfest (Tulsa spring arts festival)
  • June, 1981 - College of Courtly Graces
  • June 1981 - Nordliche Sturm hosts the Ansteorra Middle War. William Blackfox is the Autocrat. A delegation presents a petition to the Crown to be elevated to full shire status.
  • Summer, 1981 - The shire received Official Charter status at the Crown Tourney won by Sir Finn Kelly O'Donnell
  • 18 July 1981 – Finn Kelly O'Donnell and Elzasif Ironhand crowned Fifth King and Queen of Ansteorra. They are both from Northkeep.
  • August, 1981 - Shire Dinner
  • October, 1981 - Demo for Octoberfest (Tulsa fall festival); Harvest Revel : Photos of the Event on the Baronial Flikr Album
  • November, 1981 - Yule Revel; Song Fest
  • December, 1981 - Shire Revel
  • 30 January 1982 - Lloyd von Eaker and Jocelyn Alleyne Reynard crowned King and Queen of Ansteorra

  • March, 1982 - Regular Meetings and Guilds; Newcomers' Revel. The Dark Horde first invaded (Northkeep; Hordesmen had been openly active in other parts of Ansteorra before this) in the person of Patricia Fiona MacFarland.

AS XVII (1982-83 CE)

  •  ????, 1982 – The shire’s bank account was opened during Catrin ferch Gwillim's first term as Seneschal in 1982.
  • May, 1982 - Demo for Mayfest (Tulsa spring arts festival); Name of group changed to Nordlische Sturm
  • June, 1982 - Demo for Tulsa City-County West Regional Library. Anton Thoth-Rukhkh joined Patricia and the two formed khanate Black Mongoose.

  • 10 July 1982 – Charles Inman McMoore and Arrowyn of Emerald Moore crowned King and Queen of Ansteorra

  • November, 1982 - Event held at Keystone Lake, Ok. Anton and Paricia were nearly banished over a 'misunderstanding' with Inman and Arrowyn.

  • 27 July 1985 - Seamus of the Cats and Karlanna of Applecross Woods crowned King and Queen of Ansteorra. Finn Kelley O'Donnell is elevated to the Order of the Laurel.

  • June, 1989 – The Shire’s heralds began holding Heraldic Commentary meetings. The Dark Horde invades in force, temporarily, as khanate Black Mongoose hosts the national Khuraltai. Hordesmen and kingdomers dine together at The Great Wall, a Mongolian Barbecue restaurant.
  • 1 July 1989 - Patrick Michael Gordonne and Julia de Montoya crowned King and Queen of Ansteorra
  • September, 1989 - Demo for Holland Hall School (Tulsa, Ok.); demo for Tulsa Scottish Games
  • November, 1989 - Demo for University of Tulsa

  • November, 1991 - Demo for Cub Scouts; Demo for Monte Casino Elementary School (Tulsa, Ok.); Shire revel
  • January, 1992 - wInterkingdom III Collegium and Festival. Patrick Michael Gordonne and Julia de Montoya crowned King and Queen of Ansteorra

  • July, 1993 - Demo for Sunfest (summer arts festival) in Bartlesville, Ok.

Public Schools Renaissance Fair; Gunch and Munch regional fighter's practice, revel, and wedding of Thorvald Egilsson and Eleanor Fitzpatrick; Demo for Waite Phillips Cub Scouts; Demo in Eureka Springs, Ark. for the University of Tulsa's Murder Mystery Weekend
  • December, 1993 - Demo for Union Middle School (Tulsa, Ok.); Revel at the Incipient Shire of Gryphon's Roost (Muskogee, Ok.) Dunstana Talana the Violet was elevated to the Order of the Laurel.

  • July, 1994 - Wedding of Alexander Marchand and Alistair Inglis and revel
  • 16 July 1994 – Jean Richard Malcomson and Anne/Anora of Winward crowned King and Queen of Ansteorra. Both are originally from Northkeep.
  • September, 1994 - First Dionadair In-shire Tourney is won by Lord Guest Grimsson; Demo for Tulsa Scottish Games.
  • October, 1994 - Brewers' Guild Competition began
  • November, 1994 - Gunch and Munch fighter's practice and revel
  • 1995 is named 'The Year of Sorrows' as several people in the Northern Region and Northkeep are lost.
  • January, 1995 - Demo for Grissom Elementary School (Tulsa, Ok.); Publicity film shoot for Tulsa City-County Library's Camelot Faire; Demo for Channel 8's (local ABC television affiliate) "Good Morning Oklahoma"; Demo for Tulsa City-County Library's Camelot Faire; Brewers' Guild Competition judged

  • June, 1996 - Seventh Annual Castellan Tourney. This year, the Shire of Northkeep altered the structure of the event, making Castellan a more challenging title to win. Lord Merrik Viltâr Hâr takes the Drighton Title, and Lady Therese Maria Giovanni wins Provost. Marksman goes to Lord Andrew Selwyn, and the HL Robert Fitzmorgan wins Title Bard. The Premiere Artisan is Lady Maeve Kelly de Navarre.
  • July, 1996 - The first Northkeep web-pages are started about this time, by Robert Fitzmorgan, Diarmaid O'Dhuinn and Merrick Viltar Har. Merrick soon becomes the groups first "Virtual Scribe"

Lady Conal O'Reardon wins the title of Provost, and Baron Aethelstan Aethelmearson wins Marksman and Bard. The Baronial Archer is Lord Carlyle de Troy.

The Baronial Drighton is won by Lord Jean-Paul de Sens, and Lord Stephan Hawkins becomes Baronial Provost. Marksman is taken by Lord Magnus Fine Hare Duffuss. Annabelle Fitzsimmons becomes the Baronial Artisan, and Lord Braden Longhair shoots his way to Baronial Archer. The Title Bard is the HL Giovani de Cellini. For the children, Boo takes the Castellan title. Megan D'Augbiny wins the youth rapier, and Kitty takes Bardic.

The position of Premier Baronial Castellan is finally won by Lady Toinette de Cambrai. Lord Karl Hungus takes the position of Drighton, and Don Donovan FitzPatrick wins Baronial Provost. Ottokar Luther von Holstein wins Baronial Marksman. Baronial Title Bard and Artisan are both won by Lady Toinette de Cambrai. The winner of the Children's castellan is uncertain, reported as being either Ludwig or Brett. Ludwig wins Youth Rapier, Thrown Weapons, ARchery, Jousting and Bardic. Lady Olivia de Calais takes the title for A&S and Quest. Additional Artisan prizes are granted to HL Damon Hroarson for his leather work and research paper, to the HL Theresa Maria Giovanni for her metalwork, to Lucan Silverwolf for woodworking and to Lady Toinette de Cambrai for her textile arts.

  • October 2002 - The Dionadair Tournament is won by Lord Evan der Fultime. Honorable Lady Theresa Maria Giovanni wins the Ensign Tournament.

AS XXXVIII (2003-2004 CE)

  • May 2003 - Castellan XIV - HL Elric Dracwin is named Castellan, and takes home many prizes including a handsome, hand carved wooden chest. Kendrick is named Children's Castellan. The new Baronial Drighton is Sir Asoph Hearts. Baronial Provost is held by Lord Rafe Slater. Baronial Marksman is Lord Ottokar Luther von Holstein. Title Bard is won by Kasha Ivonova (at her first event, no less!), and artisan is Karl Tarlson. HL Elric Dracwin also wins Baronial Archer. Other Children's Awards include Brittany for Thrown Weapons, Kendrick for Bardic, and Josh Ap Artorius for Older Childrens' Archery. Lady Olivia de Calais took the 12 and older A&S Competition with a hand embroidered favor, made for her personal champion, Hersir Thorgrim Northkeep. The 12+ prowess champion was Kendrick.
  • Fall 2003 - Mooneschadowe Guardian - His Excellency, Ainar Magnusson, Baron of Northkeep, wins the Marskman competition.
  • Winter 2003 - wInterKingdom: Lord William receives a Cornerstone of Northkeep. Zubeydah Jamilla al-Badawiyyah is made a Master Waterbearer and the Northern Regional Waterbearer during court.

AS XXXIX (2004-2005 CE)

  • June 2004 - Northkeep hosts a demo at the J. M. Davis Gun Museum. Castellan: A very soggy Castellan is held, attended by His Royal Highness, Drake. Serena Dominici and Owen ap Aeddan provide entertainment at feast, during a bardic duel, with Owen being the eventual winner. Ian Dun Gillian won the Artisan competition, and was then promptly given a Sable Thistle in map-making. Sir Jean Paul de Sens won both the Meatgrinder Award and the title of Drighton with an amazing 24 bouts and 22 wins. Lady Olivia de Calais won the Youth Rapier, and Youth Bardic. Youth Castellan Champions: (Younger) Colton, (Older) Kelrich. Overall CASTELLAN champion is Centurion Owen ap Aeddan. James Navarre wins Provost, and Arthur Blackmoon wins the Archery competition. The Marksman title is taken by Grayden Mongo's man. Renault du Mont St. Michel, Katrine la Escolpiera, Deborah of Lemburg, Damon Zanthus and Aethelred of the Broken Shield receive Awards of Arms. Zubeydah Jamilla al-Badawiyyah receives a Sable Crane. Elizabeta & Beohrtlic were granted Court Baronetcies. Crimson Stars were presented to Finton O'Quigg and Ottokar Luther von Holstein. For his tireless work with the children with rapier combat, Facon duPray is granted a Compass Rose. Lucan Silverwolf received a Sable Thistle in Woodworking, and Dairmaid O'Dunn was made a Companion to the Order of the Lion's Paw of Kenmare. Lord Arthur Blackmoon was granted a King's Archer, Angus Gunn received a Sable Thistle in Armoring, and Kelandra Carmichael received a Thistle for her Iconography work. Llewelyn Briddid ap Dafydd Hen of Mooneschadowe received an Iris of Merit for his musical skills.
  • August 2004 - Geoffrey Makepeace hosts a Deed of Arms, to raise items and donations for our troops overseas. Warriors come from all over the north, and even one from out of Kingdom to do battle for this worthy cause.
  • September 2004 - Northkeep hosts the Queen's Champion event. Elisabeth Christianne de Calais is given an Iris for her great skill at cookery, and Ian Dun Gillian receives a Star of Merit from the hands of Drake and Sibri. Mooneschadowe Guardian - Wiggen is made a Centurian. Thorgrim Northkeep is recognized for his honor and integrity during the Guardian Defender tournament.
  • Fall 2004 - Diondair - Angus Gunn wins the Northkeep Dionadair tournament, and the Northkeep Ensign is taken by Johan. Namron Protectorate: Rayhanna el-Mukhite is recognized by their Majesties with an Award of Arms.
  • Winter 2004 - wInterKingdom: A wide variety of classes is held. A small court is held at the event's end, during which Lady Amanda Blackwolf receives a Crimson Star of Northkeep, as does Lady Nadine des Jardins. Lady Faolan McFarland received the Lions Paw of Kenmare. The event is autocratted by Lord Masamune, and the Feastocrat is Lady Amanda Blackwolf.
  • 4 December, 2004 - Wiesenfeuer Yule - Aethelred is squired to Syr Owen Ap Aeddan during evening court. Diarmaid O'Dunn is elevated to the Order of the Laurel.
  • February 2005 - The Canton of Skargaard holds its Axeman II event. The heavy fighting tournament, done in a three round, axe only grand melee, is won by Northkeep's Randal Lee.

AS XXXX (2005-2006 CE)

  • June 2005 - Castellan : The title of Baronial Castellan is won by Arthur Blackmoon. The Youth Castellan is claimed by Elenore, and Children's Castellan is Krys Blackwolf. Krys wins both Children's Obstacle Course and Children's Marksman. Connor wins the Children's Archery, and Bree Kiegansdattir wins Children's Bardic. Ron Slater creates both some clay snails and some redwork embroidery to win the Children's Arts & Sciences competition. For the youth, Elenor sweeps the Bardic, A&S and Archery. Kenrick takes the Knife-Axe-Spear competition, and Andrew of Northkeep wins Youth Rapier. For the adults, the title of Marksman is won by Thormund Blackwolf. The Baronial Archer is Geoffrey Makepeace, and Magdalena de Cadamosto of Mooneschadowe takes the A&S. Bardic is won by Bianca de la Vittoria of Wiesenfeuer. Lord Odawara Taro Yoshinobu wins the Drighton tournament. Owen ap Aeddan wins the meatgrinder tournament for the second year in a row. Facon duPray takes the rapier champion title of Provost. Much recognition is given to members of the populace at evening court. Awards of Arms are given to Geoffrey Makepeace, Cearl, Gisela von Grau, Ayla von Ashen & Asric of Mooneschadowe, Aderyn Gunnarsdottir, and Conal mac Eoghain. Northkeep's non-armigerous baronial service award, the Crimson Star, was given to Fintan O'Cuigg & Angus Gunn (both of whom have previously been awarded this honor.) Elisabeth Christianne de Calais, who was also named Apprentice to Mistress Stacia, was made a Companion to the Order of the Kenmare. Ottakar Luthor Von Holstein received a Sable Talon in the field of Knife, Axe and Spear (Thrown Weapons) – the first KAS Sable Talon to be presented in the North! Emma de Fetherstan of Mooneschadowe received a Star of Merit for all her hard work with respect to the Heraldic community. Johan von Brandenburg (von Aug?) - received a Sable Thistle for Period Rapier Combat Technique, and Esme Haddock McCallum received a Sable Comet from Rivers Run.
  • September 2005 - Northkeep's own Ulrich von Budigen wins the Mooneschadowe Guardian Yeoman title.
  • October 2005 - Northkeep's Incipient Canton of Chemin Noir holds their premier event, Fair of the Harvest. Herr-Domr Damon Hroarson received the axe of the Warden. Tadg macAedain uiConchobahair received the rapier blade of the Rangers, assembled and crafted by Randal Lee. Lady Sabine Lefevre d’Armagnac received the handsome Journal of the Inspectors, with which she could detail her project, and those of future Inspectors. Lady Aderyn Gunnarsdottir received a feathered, betokened walking stick, along with a pouch with the device of the Canton, in which she could keep the monies she earns entertaining as Troubador. Lord Ottokar Luthor von Holstein received a slim and deadly spear for his office of Sergeant. Karl Thorgeirsson accepted a leather quiver - as the Canton’s Huntsman. Children’s Events: Dragon Hunt, 8 and under: Elizabeth. Dragon Hunt, 9 and older: Damon of House Halfiras. Gentle Hunt, 8 and under: Elizabeth. Gentle Hunt, 9 and older: Nehemiah. Sheep Stealing, 8 and under: Nehemiah. Sheep Stealing, 9 and older: Drake. Tossing Game, 8 and under: Morgan. Tossing Game, 9 and older: Drake. Children’s Archery: Drake received a huge jack o lantern of candy – which had been one of the targets that day – and a special mention was made of Chyryne, who was dressed as Snow White, for her efforts in the archery shoot. She received a mirror, in which Arthur Blackmoon said he hoped she would always see her dreams.
  • March 2006 - Northkeep hosts a Northern Regional fighter practice, in preparation for War. The Liondragon Guard of Mooneschadowe is granted the King's Battle Ribbon at Gulf Wars, and promptly declares that it should be shared with their northern brethern of Northkeep's Border Guard. Riddari Balvin Thorfinnson acts as the General of the Northern Armies.

AS XXXXI (2006-2007 CE)

  • June 2006 - Ainar and Mercedes step down, and Ian and Kelandra become the Barony's third Baron and Baroness, giving their oath to Abd al-Mahdi Jamal ibn Hakim and Valeria Richela Navarra. Kinoshita Zenjirou Yoshimitsu is named Drighton of Northkeep. Many nobles from throughout the Northern region attend the event, and there are even visitors from outside the kingdom, including Hrothgar and Brianna, the Baron & Baroness of the Barony of Small Gray Bear of Gleann Abhann. 259 people go through gate.
