The Shire of St. Gwyndebourne was at Fort Hood, in Bell County, Texas, and in what's now the Southern Region of Ansteorra. It was approved as a branch at the December, 1978 meeting of the S.C.A. Board of Directors [1].

Fort Hood later became part of the unrelated Shire of Middleford, and then the seat of the Incipient Stronghold of Hellsgate of the Barony of Bryn Gwlad, which has no connection to either preceding branch.
